When I was in kindergarten I began thinking about the dinosaurs. One sole question raced through my mind...What happened to them? That's when my theory first developed. Yes, I purposed that the modern day rhinosaurus (oops! I mean rhinoceros) must have been the triceratops long ago. I also decided that the giraffe must be what used to be the brontosaurus (a.k.a. long-necks). I proudly expressed my scientific discovery to my mother. All she told me was that somebody had already come up with the theory and it was just one big lie! (Just burst my bubble!) : (
If I had brought my 'theory' before congress, Board of Education, (whoever it is that writes the textbooks) they would not have accepted it because I was in Kindergarten. But leave it to Darwin (an adult) to express very similar ideas and they'll put it in a textbook!!
Obviously evolution is just a product of the imagination. Evolution is a fairy-tale for grown-ups. I now know the truth and I'm pretty sure I know what's become of our beloved dinosaurs.
(To be continued)
